Job Description

A healthcare provider in Houston, TX is looking for a Mammography Technologist to join their team and perform mammography exams while ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures. The role involves preparing patients, explaining procedures, administering contrast, positioning patients, selecting imaging techniques, and ensuring image quality. Additional responsibilities include entering and monitoring patient data, performing quality assurance on equipment, assisting with accreditation applications, reporting accidents or equipment malfunctions, taking emergency calls, and adhering to Memorial Hermann policies. The technologist will also promote professional growth, support department goals, mentor less experienced staff, and demonstrate commitment to compassionate and personalized patient care. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:

Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS)
Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT)
Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M)
Patient care priority, willingness to learn
Team oriented and passionate about their work
Come from a fast paced environment (15+ patients a day)
