Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Lead .NET Software Developer to sit on site in San Antonio, Texas. The Lead .net developer will guide our development team in delivering high-quality, secure, and efficient applications. In this role, you’ll establish best coding practices, mentor mid- and junior-level developers, and ensure only top-tier products are released. Responsibilities include upgrading and maintaining existing systems (about 20% of your time), driving performance improvements (e.g., reducing processes from 10 minutes to 20 seconds), and leading new projects (approximately 50%). You’ll also handle bug fixes (10–15%) and collaborate on innovative solutions that enhance speed and security.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years in .NET development (C#)
- 10+ years with MS SQL Server
- Expertise in .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 8
- 5+ years with ASP.NET Web Forms
- Razor Pages
- Mentorship experience with junior or mid level developers
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Blazor, Azure DevOps, and 3+ years of team leadership (including coaching style)
