Insight Global is looking to hire a travelling HVAC Controls Technician to work for a large client. In this role, you will primarily be working at data centers and pharmaceutical clients, but will follow the need. You will deal with the elements of running through point to points, calibrations, functional and integrated system testing, coordination with the project managers, and more. This role requires a strong understanding of control systems, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This position has a high volume of travel (around 80% and via airplane). You must be willing to travel and flexible to work long hours if needed. Travel and hotel accommodation is covered by the company
Daily Tasks:
Daily startup procedures.
Running point-to-point checks (ensuring peripheral devices work with the controller).
System startup.
Functional testing (executing commissioning scripts).
Communication and coordination with the project manager.

- 2 years of HVAC Controls Experience
- Experience with PLCs
- Experience with BAS: Building Automation Systems
- Familiar with blueprints
- Computer savvy including Microsoft Excel
- Must have commercial/industrial experience
