Job Description

A top employer in the government contracting industry is looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership while also providing hands-on HR support across multiple business functions. The Senior HRBP will partner closely with directors, vice presidents, and operational leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, support workforce planning initiatives, drive organizational effectiveness, and ensure compliance with complex federal labor regulations. This person will play a critical role in employee relations, leadership coaching, talent management, investigations, compliance, and change management initiatives while supporting a dynamic, multi-state workforce.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 7-10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• At least 3 years of HR experience within a government contracting (GovCon) environment.
• Demonstrated expertise with Service Contract Act (SCA), Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
• 4+ years of experience supporting unionized workforces and collective bargaining agreements.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including experience supporting employees in states such as CA, NY, MN, IL, and MA.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of HR experience supporting federal contractors.
• 6+ years of experience working within unionized environments.
• Professional HR certifications such as PHR or SPHR.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, reorganizations, and large-scale change management initiatives.
