Job Description

We are seeking a client-facing, consulting-oriented Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to support high-value enterprise clients, including organizations with revenues exceeding $1B. This role is ideal for a seasoned technical SME who can architect scalable solutions, drive DevOps best practices, and collaborate effectively with both internal development teams and external stakeholders. While not a formal leadership role, it demands technical ownership and strategic influence.

Key Responsibilities
• Architect and support solutions in an Azure environment
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and internal development teams
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Collaborate with software engineering, QA, and product teams
• Serve as a subject matter expert on DevOps tools and methodologies

Required Skills & Experience

-7–10 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
-Proven expertise in Azure cloud platforms, including infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation
-Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation and tooling
-Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins, including pipeline creation and maintenance
-Extensive knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
-Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
-Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce for issue tracking and workflow management
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Certifications: Azure Solutions Expert
-Experience with:
○ Infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform
○ Monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
○ ConnectWise or similar PSA/RMM platforms
-Prior experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments, supporting multiple clients with varying infrastructure needs
