Job Description

A large oil and gas company is looking for 2 additional resources for the Scrum Master/Coach Role in Cybersecurity. One for the Architect Team and another for Monitoring & Response.



Architecture could work on anything architecturally related to Cybersecurity, on prem and in the cloud. They perform risk assessments, develop architectural drawings, look at new products anyone wants to purchase to determine if they will fit in our environment. Mixed bag of activities. Team is 10. Currently one Kanban board. Planned and unplanned work activities.



Monitor & Response works on tickets that come in from enterprise with issues. Also monitors certain events and if something is triggered, investigate and triage. Team is 16. Currently using multiple boards. Has some planned work activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Architecture

* Mid-level Scrum Master experience

* Highly organized and motivated servant leader who can effectively coach an enabling team through their agile transformation.

* Effective at fostering an environment for high performance and relentless improvement by integrating with the team as a value member who understands the dynamic environment, proactively removes impediments, and facilitates self-organization and self-management within the team.

* Location: highly distributed team, so remote is fine (Central Time Zone preferred for coverage). San Antonio or Findlay are ideal.



Monitoring & Response

* Mid-level Scrum Master/Coaching experience

* Highly organized and motivated servant leader who can effectively coach an already well-functioning team through their agile transformation by applying SAFe principals to iteratively improve efficiency and streamline processes.

* Effective at fostering an environment for high performance and relentless improvement by integrating with the team as a value member who understands the environment, proactively removes impediments, and facilitates self-organization and self-management within the team.

* An ideal candidate would have a well-rounded understanding of agile tools and techniques for operational/kanban teams, with experience applying them in a flexible and dynamic manner to meet team needs.

* Location: San Antonio. Remote is acceptable but will require travel to San Antonio for onboarding, quarterly PI Planning, and possibly more regularly.
