Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in San Antonio! The role involves reviewing technical aspects of major design, construction, renovation, or alteration projects; handling RFIs, submittals, and BCOES reviews; inspecting and testing mechanical systems and equipment; monitoring and documenting building system commissioning; preparing necessary correspondence and reports; reviewing complex change orders and claims; attending mechanical and plumbing meetings; and supporting warranty inspections.

Responsibilities:

Review technical aspects of major projects.

Handle RFIs, submittals, and BCOES reviews.

Inspect and test mechanical systems and equipment.

Monitor and document building system commissioning.

Prepare correspondence and reports.

Review complex change orders and claims.

Attend mechanical and plumbing meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years commissioning experience.
Strong understanding of LEED requirements.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
