The Network Engineer is responsible for monitoring network performance, ensuring system availability, and maintaining reliability across all infrastructure. This role leads the configuration and installation of network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS. The engineer performs complex maintenance and system upgrades, applying service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. They assist in developing and implementing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting information security awareness throughout the organization. The position provides advanced Level 3 support and troubleshooting for highly complex technical issues. Working within established change management policies, the engineer ensures successful implementation of infrastructure changes. Additionally, they serve as the primary liaison with vendors and internal IT teams, selecting and deploying security tools with significant autonomy.

- 3+ years of experience managing the maintenance and updates of Cisco FTD Firewalls
- Hands on experience implementing and configuring a new firewall into an enterprise level environment
- 3+ years in a networking engineer role
- Ability to provide efficient level 3 support to complex networking issues surrounding routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS. The engineer performs complex maintenance and system upgrades
- CCNA Certification
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively supporting multiples lines of business
