Job Description

A client in the San Antonio area is seeking a Fire Alarm System Designer to join their team for a permanent role. In this role, they will be responsible for designing and developing fire alarm system using CAD or Bluebeam, will create detailed layouts & schematics for commercial fire alarm installations, and ensure designs comply with NFPA codes, local regulations, and client specifications. You will review and approve design plans as an APS (Fire Alarm Planning Superintendent).

Required Skills & Experience

- NICET Level 3 or 4 certification
- APS certification (granting authority to sign off on fire alarm design plans)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with VESDA systems
- Edwards EST panel design
