Job Description
The Electrical Manufacturing Engineer supports aircraft production by translating electrical designs into executable production build plans while providing real-time shop-floor support to resolve manufacturing issues.
Primary Responsibilities
• Support ECAT (Electrical Corrective Action Team) efforts and work directly with mechanics to resolve electrical production issues.
• Develop electrical build plans and production sequencing.
• Create and support OSIPs (Out of Sequence Installation Plans) for rework and recovery activities.
• Interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Partner with Design Engineering and Manufacturing teams to drive build readiness.
• Troubleshoot production issues impacting schedule, cost, and quality.
Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.
Pay for this role is $60-$70/hr based on years of experience

Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of experience translating electrical design requirements into build plans and production sequencing within aerospace or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
IPT, planning experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Boeing tools including WIRS, MESCI, Gold ESP, IVT, and REDARS.
• Experience developing tool lists.
• Experience annotating 3D graphics.
• Structures, shop-floor, mechanic, or quality background.
• ECAT, ship-side support, or similar shop-floor issue-resolution experience supporting mechanics.
• WIRS or similar tool experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Previous Boeing experience.
