Insight Global is seeking Manufacturing Engineers and Planners to join one of our large aerospace clients in San Antonio, TX. This is a 100% on-site role where engineers will be working with design teams to transition electrical build plans to production. In this role you will collaborate with Design Engineering and manufacturing teams to create the electrical builds.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Implement lean principles and technologies.

-5+ years of experience translating electrical design requirements and putting them into a sequences plan/build plan in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
-Previous Boeing Commercial aircraft experience -
-Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
-Software experience: WIRS, WQCS, and MES CI
-Understand and navigate engineering drawings and BOM (bill or materials)
Previous experience compiling tools lists needed for projects
Experience annotating 3D graphics
Structures experience/ floor experience as a mechanic or quality role
Bachelors in Engineering
