Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to join an existing Land Development team for one of our largest technology clients. The Environmental Permitting & Compliance team is responsible for the development and on-time delivery of environmental permits to support construction of Data Centers needed to buildout cloud infrastructure. he Environmental Compliance Manager
Enablon Lead will manage Enablon implementation for construction environmental permits and
regulations and cooperate with internal/external business partners to achieve compliance goals. This role requires regular engagement with key stakeholders, including Compliance,
Permitting, Legal, Design, Construction, and Operations teams, and outside consultants and
contractors. The region for this role is for AMER, including, Canada, the continental US, and
Latin America.

The Environmental Compliance Manager Enablon Lead will be a key player in both the strategy development and compliant execution of construction environmental permits in Enablon for our projects during the construction phase of our DC lifecycle.


Specific Job Task Populate Enablon templates with applicable environmental permits and regulations for over 70 projects. Includes team cross coordination prior to, during, and after template population. The job requires strong knowledge in environmental regulations related to Clean Water Act sections 402, 401, and 404, Clean Air Act, and SPCC.
Roles and Responsibilities - The Environmental Compliance Manager Enablon Lead is part of a
larger environmental team composed of environmental permitting and compliance managers that
supports the on-time delivery and execution of data center while ensuring compliance with all
environmental approvals. Specific responsibilities will include:
Coordinate with subject-matter experts as needed to accurately populate Enablon
templates.
Coordination with Permit Managers to understand permit conditions to ensure Enablon
templates enable compliance with all environmental approvals
Coordination with EHS Enablon team for loading populated templates into the software
Responsible for assigning tasks and meeting with task owners / responsible parties, as
needed.
Management of Enablon templates including regular reporting to internal stakeholders.
Communication of environmental requirements and environmental expertise to diverse
internal and external stakeholders. Enablon Lead will maintain and report project status regularly and contribute to the development and continued improvement of an Environmental Excellence program for datacenter delivery and construction.

Rate for this is between 40-50/hr

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience with Environmental Permitting, Compliance, and Environmental Due Dilligence.
Proficient with Enablon software
Advanced knowledge of environmental permitting programs, remedial investigations, remediation strategies and execution, site conceptual models, and site management plans.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or relate degree required.
Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional and positive working relationships with internal and external teams
5+ years of environmental permitting and approvals experience in America, including management of environmental impact assessments, acquisition of permits, permit compliance, and cultural and ecological surveys and approvals
5+ years of program and project management experience in America, including permit timeline development, cross coordination amongst disciplines, contracting and leading consultant teams, driving deliverables to the business, etc.
Experience with mission critical facilities or large-scale construction projects.
Experience in construction and operational environmental compliance and experience working through environmental permitting in multiple markets.
