Insight Global is looking for a Controls Service Technician that will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building automation systems (BAS), control systems, and related components. This role ensures optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, and other facility automation systems in commercial or industrial environments.
Diagnoses system performance through observation, testing and setup as required by trade/position.
Install, commission, and calibrate building automation and control systems (e.g., HVAC controls, DDC systems, PLCs).
Perform routine and emergency service calls to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair control system hardware and software issues.
Read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, sequences of operations, and technical manuals.
Test system functionality and document system performance.

2+ years of experience in building automation or industrial control systems preferred.
Experience with BAS platforms such as Trane, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or similar systems.
