Job Description

Brief Summary:

The Assistant Warehouse Manager will provide daily leadership in our fulfillment center operations. This role

ensures that receipts and shipment orders are processed accurately, warehouse associates are appropriately

trained, and safety and compliance standards are maintained. The Assistant Warehouse Manager also supports

warehouse management systems (WMS) functions, reporting, process improvements, and the willingness to be

hands-on when needed.


Responsibilities include:

• Lead daily fulfillment operations, supervising Warehouse Associates, Forklift Drivers, Safety Officers, and

Warehouse staff.

• Write reports and communicate effectively with customers and employees.

• Oversee coaching and training to maintain accuracy and safety standards.


• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and performance metrics.

• Conduct new hire evaluations and performance reviews for staff development.

• Assist in planning warehouse layout, product flow, and recommend new equipment.

• Encourage and develop process improvements based on workflow analysis and implement necessary

changes.

• Support the ISO Integrated Management program by conducting audits and updating SOP’s and Work

Instructions to match current processes.

• Ensure timely completion of receipts, shipment orders, and cycle counts.

• Stay visible on the warehouse floor to resolve issues and provide real-time support.

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and Human Resources on staffing, scheduling, and employee

support.

• Support organizational growth by ensuring warehouse operations are scalable as new customers and

fulfillment demands are added.

Physical and Environmental Conditions:

Work is conducted in a standard warehouse setting, requiring physical mobility to perform various tasks, including standing

or sitting for long periods,


Compensation:

$55,000 to $65,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (two-year college or technical school) or three years of related experience.

• 2–3 years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• People and Process Management

• Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information

• Dealing with Complexity & Deadline-Oriented

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and strong organizational skills.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to analyze data and read safety and operating documents.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in a fulfillment center environment is strongly preferred.

• Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)experience a plus.

• Knowledge of Accounting and Inventory software.

• Knowledge of Order Processing Systems.
