Job Description
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, general ledger, and subledger accounts, including complex reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
• Research and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely and accurate processing of reconciliations to meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare intercompany journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Work with multiple operating entities and joint ventures.
• Serve as backup for the General Ledger Accounting Manager.
• Identify issues and provide resolutions.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and instructions from the GL Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
2. 7+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced with pivot tables, v-look up), Word, Access, and Outlook.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
5. Large corporate experience or public accounting experience.
6. Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and function as a team player.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
1. CPA or other accounting designation.
2. Experience with Deltek Costpoint software.
3. Experience in multi-site/state operations and knowledge of federal contracting.
