Job Description
We are ramping up multiple projects supporting a large aerospace company, focused on sustaining existing capabilities while delivering new functionality. This role will contribute to the development of a brand-new transactional application that supports critical business workflows and is already in an advanced stage of development.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain back-end services using FastAPI framework.
• Build APIs to support transactional workflows and business-critical data
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product partners to deliver end-to-end functionality
• Write and maintain unit tests using Pytest

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer/developer
• Strong experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI
• Experience building transactional, data-driven applications
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks, specifically Pytest
• Ability to work within an existing design and advanced development environment
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and ad hoc meetings to align with team goals
