Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Field Application Engineer to join a leading client in the semiconductor industry in the Austin, TX area. This individual will be responsible for providing premium technical support leading to design wins, as well as ongoing support for existing products and customer programs as needed; this includes schematic/layout reviews, board bring ups, tuning/optimization, full validation, and generating validation reports.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

* 2+ years of relevant experience in power electronics with emphasis on analog/digital LV DC-DC

* Knowledge on DC-DC/AC-DC design, evaluation, and testing on PC/Server/Switch/Telecom mother boards or power supplies.

* Electronic system design including conception, block diagrams, schematic capture, PCB layout, and debugging

* Experience using development tools including schematic capture, PCB layout, electrical stimulation, and thermal simulation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Multiphase Vcore and Memory a plus

* Experience with server, networking, and AI power management products is a plus
