Job Description
A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire a Lead ServiceNow CMDB / Asset Data Architect to come onboard! This individual will serve as the strategic lead for a large enterprise data governance and asset data accuracy initiative. The role is primarily focused on designing target-state architecture, establishing governance frameworks, and guiding stakeholders toward a single source of truth across multiple systems. While this person will stay close to the data, their core responsibility is leading direction, driving alignment, and translating technical findings into executive-level recommendations across a distributed team. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
-Lead current-state assessment and define target-state architecture for asset data ecosystem
-Design enterprise data models aligned with ITIL and ServiceNow CMDB best practices
-Establish and implement data governance frameworks (ownership, stewardship, lifecycle policies)
-Drive strategy for consolidating systems into a single source of truth (likely ServiceNow CMDB)
-Facilitate stakeholder workshops across business and technical teams
-Provide direction on data remediation strategies and prioritization
-Oversee data quality audit results and translate findings into executive insights
-Guide tool rationalization across CMDB, ERP, asset systems, and reporting platforms

Required Skills & Experience
-8+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise data modeling
-6+ years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITIL-based asset/configuration management
-6+ years implementing data governance frameworks
-5+ years working in complex enterprise environments with multiple systems (CMDB, ERP, asset tools)
-Strong expertise in defining single source of truth strategies and data consolidation
-Experience leading stakeholder workshops and executive-level presentations
-Familiarity with data quality audits and remediation frameworks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Compensation: $50/hr to $60/hr
**Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
