Job Description
A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire a ServiceNow CMDB / Asset Data Analyst to come onboard! This role is highly hands-on and focused on analyzing, auditing, and improving asset data accuracy across multiple enterprise systems. The individual will work directly with datasets, build queries and reports, and execute data remediation efforts while partnering with a lead architect to support governance initiatives. The environment is highly collaborative and requires strong technical execution along with the ability to interpret and validate complex data flows across tools. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
-Perform hands-on data extraction, querying, and analysis using SQL, Excel, and Tableau
-Audit inaccurate datasets and identify mismatches, duplicates, and gaps
-Build reports, dashboards, and data mappings to support analysis and remediation
-Work within ServiceNow CMDB to evaluate data quality, CI relationships, and configurations
-Execute data cleanup and remediation efforts across systems
-Analyze and improve data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval processes
-Support development of outlier reporting and data quality tracking
-Collaborate with stakeholders to validate findings and support governance adoption

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of hands-on data analysis (SQL, Excel, Tableau or similar tools)
-4+ years working with ServiceNow CMDB or asset management data
-4+ years of experience performing data audits and data quality remediation
-Strong experience identifying duplicates, mismatches, and data inconsistencies
-Experience working across multiple enterprise data systems (CMDB, ERP, asset tools)
-Understanding of ITIL asset/configuration management concepts
-Ability to build queries, reports, and data mappings independently
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Compensation: $30/hr to $40/hr
**Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
