Job Description

Will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate assigned engineering work; monitor work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices and standards; and ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project consultants. Act as the main point of contract in the day-to-day interaction with the client’s designated representative and jurisdictional agency personnel, as well as the team lead for all internal activities performed by the project team.
• Perform due diligence investigations for new project acquisitions including identifying project constraints, preparing cost estimates, and reviewing third-party engineering plans
• Assist in preparation of concept plans for new project acquisitions
• Prepare Lot Fits to confirm house product line-up
• Lead Designer on single-family residential projects
• Facilitate design plan production for regulatory agency approvals, including agency permitting coordination

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Has a Professional Engineer license or able to obtain in 6 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D (involved in the production/technical side for design)
• 3-4+ years of engineering experience (Commercial, Site, Industrial, Land development, Residential)
• 1+ years of land development project experience

• Residential/ subdivision experience
