Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented professional to help modernize and rebuild our Project Management Office (PMO) with a focus on high-level reporting and process standardization. This role emphasizes financial analysis, technical storytelling, and program reporting, requiring strong collaboration across engineering and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial & Technical Analysis: Partner with finance to extract data from ledgers (cloud compute, vendor costs, allocations) and analyze trends over time to demonstrate efficiencies and cost changes.
• Executive Communication & Storytelling: Create compelling, executive-ready presentations for leadership forums and engineering all-hands (300–400 attendees). Adapt data into professional narratives rather than simple copy-paste.
• Program Reporting & Roadmapping: Develop recurring reporting mechanisms for program priorities, leveraging Jira for tracking initiatives and building roadmaps. Socialize data for weekly/monthly reviews and create one-pagers for Marcus Engineering and broader organizational updates.
• Collaboration & Ad Hoc Support: Work closely with engineering operations leadership, including preparing materials for executive travel and leadership updates. Coordinate inputs from domain leads to produce decks and reports for various audiences.
• Master Materials Management: Maintain and repurpose core presentation materials for ongoing leadership forums, ensuring consistency and quality across all deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong ability to translate complex financial and technical data into clear, actionable insights.
• Expertise in Excel for financial reporting and PowerPoint for executive presentations.
• Familiarity with Jira and program management practices (not sprint/epic execution, but high-level tracking and reporting).
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with highly technical engineers.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
