Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a senior IT Business Partner Manager/Relationship Manager to join a major global Manufacturing and supply chain company. The successful candidate will be the liaison between the customer and IT groups for a major project handling mass production of a physical high tech product. The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively and understand the business objective, outcome and requirement, manage customer expectations, manage relationships between executives and stakeholders and the impact on cost and change to IT. The successful candidate must understand manufacturing of high tech products and be familiar with manufacturing execution systems. Strong knowledge and awareness of IT operations in a manufacturing environment is key.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Engaging business stakeholders to define their requirements from a people, process and technology perspective, taking into account organizational change management requirements such as procedure or policy changes, training requirements and communication plans.

Translate business requirements into technical, in order to engage other IT teams, such as Enterprise architects and Application COE Leads to prepare a technology solution.

Creation of business case in partnership with the business requestor in order to obtain financial approvals to proceed with a project

In cases where an initiative requires new technology that doesn't currently exist in the internal IT landscape, conduct a 'market scan'; research into vendor solutions that address the

business requirements via an evaluation matrix of define criteria for the project.

Works with Project Managers to manage communication to stakeholders on issue resolution and project status/execution

Documents market requirements, regulations and best practices then works with Business architects to define and document IT roadmap and key capabilities required to compete in each market

Documents market trends in IT for markets by attending/monitoring/participating in industry events, publications, forums, etc.

Develops relations and ongoing discussions with customer's business and IT management teams

Maintain a profile document on all the IT integration touchpoints between internal and a customer, Internal/external connectivity .

Required Skills & Experience

7-10 years minimum experience in the industry

Ability to handle high stress, customer demands, negotiations

* Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems - what it does, how it supports the manufacturing process to be able to translate to business requirements into technical requirements for an MES system

* Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent themselves and the broader IT team in front of senior executives (both internal and customers)

* Ability to guide other people (who don't report directly to you) to achieve the intended outcome of the project

* Good time management / organization skills to be able to work on multiple initiatives

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Prior experience with FactoryLogix
