Job Description

Our client, a Fortune 10 healthcare company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Enterprise Project Management Office. They are implementing Communications Management software using a specialized vendor and need a PM/Technical Lead to oversee and drive the implementation from start to finish.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to convey the message creatively
Develop project plans/oversee project scope during conceptualization, implementation, and maintenance stages.
Facilitate reviews and confirms project scope, resource requirements, budget, timeline, deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and plans
Maintains focus on project risks and interdependencies across the life cycle, making contingency plans to proactively address concerns that pose risk to budget, schedule, and scope
Engage cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business/application areas for Problem Solving, short-and long-term technology solutions, and risk mitigation activities
Drives results and resolve issues including the ability to assess and course correct as necessary
Facilitates internal and external meetings ensuring clear, complete, thorough, and consistent documentation of status, issues, risks, budget, key decisions, root cause and final resolution
Displays strong organizational skills with attention to detail evidenced through sound analytical skills
Displays strong initiative, addressing issues without prompting
Understands Business Architecture and Technical Solution Architecture, working with IT and external partners to evaluate and implement new technologies or enhancements to existing technologies
Assist in preparing presentations and presents to leadership and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years IT Project Management in large enterprise environments
Experience with implementing SmartComm or other Communications Management software
Demonstrated IT project management experience including managing one or more large complex IT product/software development/projects
Experience working in Scaled Agile environment understands SAFe, PI Planning, iterations, etc
Healthcare/Insurance or previous CVS experience preferred
Managed Projects 5+ million or more
Tools
o MS project, Rally (or Jira), RTC, Clarity (for budget management) or comparable
Managed Agile and Hybrid projects ( Waterfall, Agile, Kanban etc).
Experience developing detail project plan, Roadmap, executive presentations (Proficient at PowerPoints).
Experienced in providing status update including risk/issues update to senior leadership team.
Ability to drive technical as well business conversations.
