Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join our growing Project Management Office (PMO) department! The Project Controls Manager role is a full-time position in which the candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reviewing the project’s master schedule while serving as a member of the project management team. We are seeking an experienced & driven individual who can support program and project management activities for our active projects in Texas.

Responsibilities
· Establish project’s master schedule, maintain schedule baseline, review and document schedule status and variances, and update status of schedule.
· Review & recommend approval for baseline schedule and resource load summary schedule and revisions.
· Provide time impact analysis for change orders.
· Review of project documents to identify potential project impacts.
· Utilize prescribed methods to plan & schedule work based on execution/management team feedback.
· Advise project team on productivity trends and labor forecast analysis.
· Ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

· 4+ years of experience in project controls or scheduling within power generation or similar industries.
· Advanced skills in Oracle Primavera P6.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and work as a team.
· Management experience with ability to delegate & direct work of others.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Experience with EPC change management strongly desired.
· Powerplant experience (gas turbines a plus)
· Combined/Simple Cycle power experience
· Willingness to train others
