Job Description

Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Consumer Insights Manager to join a global food and beverages company and work fully remote. As a Senior Manager this person will be to joining the R&D Consumer Experience team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of consumer behavior, product development, and strategic insight. The resource will not be responsible for managing people but must have the experience and confidence to lead complex projects and work closely with senior leaders across culinary, technical, and innovation teams. On a day-to-day basis, the resource will lead insight-driven product development initiatives by translating R&D-focused consumer research into clear, actionable recommendations. They will work closely with cross-functional teamsincluding culinary, technical, and innovation partnersto ensure that consumer needs and behaviors are embedded into product strategy. This person will spend time analyzing trends, identifying whitespace opportunities, and asking thoughtful questions to uncover what drives consumer preferences. They will manage multiple stakeholders, challenge suppliers to push innovation forward, and bring structure and clarity to ambiguous challenges. This role requires a high level of curiosity, strong project management skills, and the ability to synthesize complex insights into compelling product direction.

Pay rate: 55-60/hr

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:
3-5+ years of experience in a consumer insights management role within a food and beverages industry
Strong understanding of consumer behavior, trends, and how they influence product development
Proven ability to turn insights into product direction and strategy
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Experience with a variety of research methodologies (e.g., sensory, ethnographic, quantitative, qualitative).
Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Science, Psychology, Consumer Behavior, or related field.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
Experience working in agile or innovation-focused environments.
Familiarity with digital tools for consumer research and data visualization.
Passion for translating consumer empathy into breakthrough product experiences.
