Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to support a major telecommunications client in leading the full lifecycle of a large multi‑site product rollout. The PM manages planning, site surveys, scheduling, installations, vendor coordination, quality assurance, customer communication, performance testing, and project closeout while serving as the primary day‑to‑day liaison between the client and their customers to ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time. This role oversees end‑to‑end execution of the product deployment by developing and managing project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications, and by ensuring all documentation and reporting remain accurate and current. The PM coordinates all planning and site readiness activities, including vendor‑managed site surveys, needs assessments, system design documentation, survey reports, bill of materials creation, and installation procedures. During implementation, they schedule and track every installation to completion, validate installation quality, and secure required sign‑offs. They manage all quality assurance tasks by confirming sites are ready for close‑to‑bill submission, resolving installation failures or rejections, and maintaining updated records. The PM also oversees service activation and performance testing for pilot and full‑rollout phases, leads post‑activation monitoring to identify and resolve recurring issues, and ensures seamless customer training and handoff to the client’s operations teams. Finally, they support billing reviews, finalize project documentation, and contribute to planning for future phases of service expansion.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of experience in a project management role, specifically in product implementation or service management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite products.
Comfortable with presenting project updates to external and internal leadership.
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments and organizations.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous lead or managerial experience.
Previous telecommunications experience.
PMP certification.
