Job Description

Insight Global s client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Underwriting Specialist with a strong background in assessing and approving a variety of mortgage products. The ideal candidate will have extensive underwriting experience, including government, conforming, and non-conforming loans, with exposure to complex tax returns and asset analysis. This role requires a deep understanding of compliance, operational risk, and regulatory standards to support our lending operations and ensure adherence to all relevant laws and guidelines

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years Mortgage Underwriting Experience
o First line or second line is ok
Experience with Govt, Conforming, and Non-conforming with exposure to complex tax returns and assets.
Understands compliance and operational risk

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Interpret Relevant Laws, Rules, and Regulations
- HUD DE and VA LAPP/Automatic Certifications preferred.
