Job Description

We are seeking a Windows Engineer in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This person should know how to install and configure all the requirements to build any servers including drivers, vendor software and home grown code. They will address the issues arising in the test environment, documenting the fixes and come up with plans to avoid the repetition of same problems in the future.
This Engineer is experienced to participate in release deployments - Installation of home grown and vendor software, based on the documented steps in production environment and support issues with deployments in the production environments.
This is to provide 3rd Level Support so they must be involved in incident troubleshooting, analysis and resolution for web applications. They will install, test, tune, upgrade and load patches, and troubleshoot server problems.
This position demands the person to be VERY hands on.

Required Skills & Experience

Engineer must have 5+ year experience in Windows 2012,2016, 2019, and 2022 IIS and .Net application integration.
Candidate should have strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, Firewall, Local and Global load balancing expertise in application integration.
Candidate should have experience with CD tools like Ansible Tower, Jenkins, Digital.ai Release, etc., and DEV OPS.
Candidate should be able to troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows & cross platform environment.
Candidate should have expertise in analyzing IIS logs.
Must have ability to troubleshoot .net based web application integration issues in Windows environment.
Any PowerShell or VB scripting knowledge.
Any experience migrating applications from lower version of .Net and IIS to a higher version.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Ability to work both on Windows and Linux based middleware like WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, Spring boot
Candidates with hands on experience with F5 devices like Global Traffic Manager and Local Traffic Manager
Experience with tools like Autosys, Splunk, Wireshark, WinSCP, OpenSSH & any static content distribution tools
