Job Description

A client is looking for an Automation Maintenance Technician for a contract role based out of Plano, TX. This position will join an innovation and engineering team and help oversee the following:

Responsibilities:
• Support builds, installs, and full-system troubleshooting
• Perform electrical troubleshooting (wiring faults, sensors, I/O, power distribution)
• Execute test runs and collect data
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues, ideate and implement solutions to improve reliability
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime
• Manage parts/materials inventory and maintain lab readiness

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years automation/machinery maintenance or electrical troubleshooting experience
• Strong electrical knowledge
• Ability to wire & install & tear downs electrical devices (sensors, relays, motors, wire panels)
• MUST BE Hands-on & interested to help build/prototype and test solutions too!

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Restaurant, QSR, or Food Equipment experience
• PLC basic knowledge
