Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Epic Optime/Anesthesia Analyst to join our healthcare IT team on a contract basis. This role is critical in supporting and enhancing the surgical and anesthesia modules within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Epic Optime and Anesthesia, a strong understanding of integrations and workflows, and a proven ability to collaborate with clinical and technical teams. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing system configurations, supporting upgrades, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to improving clinical efficiency and patient care through technology.

Required Skills & Experience

o Certification in Epic Optime and Epic Anesthesia
o 5+ years of Epic Optime and Anesthesia build & support experience
o Able to work in support and on-call model
o Experience with Epic Optime build such as supply and equipment maintenance and build, SER maintenance, statusboard build and maintenance, printer mapping, block and surgeon group build, OR report build, PAT and procedure pass. Anesthesia build and maintenance for reports, macros, smartforms, and billing. Security experience a plus
o Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
o Excellent communication skills
o Good client-handling skills
o Comfortable working closely with clinicians and clinical informatics
o Upgrade and Nova Note experience - reviewing release notes, coordinating with build, testing, and deployment across environments
o Build and deploy enhancements, optimizations, new facilities, and integrated projects
o Must have in-depth knowledge of optime and anesthesia workflows.
o Experience working with third party integrations .
o Must possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills and readiness to work across multiple applications/modules
o Prior experience of working in ITSM and Ticketing tools like ServiceNow
