Job Description
One of Insight Global’s customers is looking to onboard a Director, Revenue Accounting to their team in Plano, TX. This individual will lead the build-out of the Revenue Accounting team, systems, and controls to support organizational growth, including post-acquisition integration and financial due diligence. This role oversees global revenue operations for billing, A/R, and credit across a team of about 70 professionals in India and the U.S., ensuring timely monthly close and accurate billing. The Director will review complex revenue arrangements for ASC 606 compliance, manage processes in a customized NetSuite environment and Zone for A/R, and resolve SKU-level issues impacting revenue recognition. Additional responsibilities include standardizing processes, strengthening internal controls, collaborating with Treasury and Finance teams, and providing guidance and training on revenue accounting best practices. This is a permanent opportunity and is required to come onsite in Plano, TX 2 times a week.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of senior-level revenue accounting experience in the IT industry.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
Strong transactional revenue expertise (Billing processes, cash collection, revenue recognition).
Familiarity and experience with NetSuite.
Proven ability to manage large global teams and complex processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve SKU-level and revenue system issues.
Excellent communication skills.
