Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Global Logistics Data Analyst to support our transportation and fleet operations across international markets including Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa. This role is pivotal in uncovering actionable insights from complex logistics data—spanning flights, warehouse transfers, factory shipments, pallet movements, and store deliveries.
You will work closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, and fleet management to interpret delivery patterns, driver behavior, and warehouse performance. Your focus will be on data discovery, not with some model building using Python and SQL to manipulate, clean, and prepare datasets for insight generation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Data Discovery & Manipulation
• Receive raw data from databases or Excel files and load into local environments.
• Clean, transform, and combine datasets using Python and SQL.
• Write back to new tables for iterative analysis and reporting.
• Operational Insight Generation
• Identify anomalies such as delivery delays, warehouse bottlenecks, and driver inefficiencies.
• Example: Understand why a warehouse in South Africa takes twice as long to load trucks compared to others.
• Provide insights into driver behavior (e.g., time spent waiting, delivery delays) across global time zones.
• Fleet & Logistics Analysis
• Analyze subcontractor performance, track utilization, and delivery timelines.
• Investigate real-world scenarios like drivers refusing to engage with resources or communicating in local dialects.
• Bridge the gap between technical data and business language to ensure clarity and relevance.
• Stakeholder Communication
• Present findings to cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and logistics.
• Translate technical insights into business-relevant narratives.
• Support decision-making with clear, actionable recommendations.
