Job Description

A Fortune 50 company is looking for a Technical Project Manager who can join this company's Enterprise Data Analytics and Platform team in a global cross-functional collaborative role. This team is responsible for driving data analytics tools, incident management across the different data platforms and tools, and platform management/operations internationally and across different business units. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who understands the Azure PaaS landscape including: ADLS, ADF, Azure Databricks, and Blob Storage to help oversee and drive platform activities across all major business units. You will help with driving process improvement, status reports to leadership and stakeholders, and coordinating move forward plans once the issues are resolved. You will help with driving engineering and operational excellence by establishing and enforcing best practices, standards, and methodologies to improve operational efficiency, quality, and delivery, while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. As the Project Manager, this client is also looking for someone who can help with fostering a positive and inclusive team culture by promoting collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth. Provide guidance and support to team members, encouraging their development, and creating an environment that values diversity, innovation, and open communication. This person will be successful in this role if they have collaboration skills across a global team, strong presentation skills, critical thinking, are customer obsessed, bias for action, and have a high sense of urgency. This position requires someone to work in IST time zone and work with US, APAC, EMEA, and India. Working hours would be 1:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST for an 8-hour shift.

Required Skills & Experience

-8+ years of experience in either Project Management, or Program/Project Delivery Lead
-Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks platform must be able to understand basic technical landscape of Azure Databricks environment (Blob Storage, ADF, Databricks, and ADLS)
-Experience in Azure cloud technology (PaaS and Iaas) and able to speak with technical team members (i.e. Networking, Security, Databricks specifically)
-Strong background in presenting to leadership and stakeholders and ability to put together meaningful PowerPoint presentations
-Strong Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Experience working through ServiceNow tool
-Strong leadership skills - ability to forge strong working relationships and build rapport with leaders and personnel of all levels across teams and organizations
-Experience operating within global customer support and success businesses that operate 24/7
-Ability to work in fast-paced environment
-Customer obsession, ability to take ownership, bias for action
