Job Description

Project Scope: Working the Golden Triangle Polymers Project, this is a $8.5 billion integrated polymers facility. Once operational, the plant will produce polyethylene, used in various products such as pipes, packaging materials, and containers.

Position Scope: This person will determine the route of the "field routed" raceways (ex. Snaptrack, conduit etc.) This candidate will spend time capturing field photos and then marking the photos with raceway routes and cable/circuit tags. Special attention must be paid to ensure the raceway is not being routed through maintenance and working clearance volumes.
This candidate must also be able to analyze entire areas and attempt to group multiple cables into individual raceways, minimizing the overall raceway quantity. This person must be highly independent and will spend 75% of their time in the field, and 25% of their time at the desk. The primary spec this role will be fulfilling is coordinating electrical instillation with other trades to avoid interference with raceway, lighting fixtures, or other equipment until all piping, pipe hangers, ducts and equipment, which is located above or behind has been installed, unless release is given in specific cases.
