A midstream energy services provider is seeking a Strategic Buyer to join their team in Midland, Texas. The Strategic Buyer must be able to self-manage and have at least 5 years of strategic buying and procurement experience. Daily responsibilities include buying activities for both materials and services to support midstream operations. The Strategic Buyer will fully interact with stakeholders and must have great communication. This role is performed in an office setting with minimal travel for company events.
5+ years of procurement and strategic buying experience
Experience buying and sourcing in ERP systems, preferably SAP
Buying experience in the oil and gas or related industry
HS Diploma
Experience working with purchase orders, internal and external stakeholders
