Job Description
A chemistry client in the Midland area is looking for a quality control Lab Technician to join their team. This person will test and qualify raw materials and products to support the manufacturing of quality products for our client's customers. They will conduct routine chemical analyses in a laboratory environment. They will be expected to produce accurate and repeatable results and documents to support manufacturing, as well as quality control process. Work may include the use of specialized laboratory equipment: Viscometer, GC, UV/Vis, Spec, etc. This is a direct hire hourly paid position.

Required Skills & Experience
1 year of previous work experience in a laboratory
Previous experience in a quality control laboratory or an oil and gas industry laboratory
Ability to use Microsoft Word - Outlook, Excel and Word
Flexibility to work 8 or 12 hour shift
Flexibility to work day or night shift
Flexibility to work overtime
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Associates or Bachelors degree in Science field OR 8 hours of college chemistry
