Job Description
The Senior Sourcing Specialist is responsible for owning sourcing strategies for steel, fabricated components, and indirect spend. This person leads complex negotiations, drives long‑term cost savings, manages key/strategic suppliers, and serves as a trusted sourcing advisor across the organization.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Own assigned sourcing categories end‑to‑end
Lead complex bids and negotiations
Drive cost savings at a strategic level
Interpret market trends and adjust sourcing strategy
Own strategic supplier relationships
Mentor and guide other buyers or sourcing team members

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (business, supply chain, engineering, finance, etc.)
5–8 years in sourcing/procurement
Proven experience:
Owning sourcing categories
Leading supplier negotiations
Working in steel, fabrication, or manufacturing environments
Strong data and cost modeling skills
Travel 15%
Proficiency with ERP & Sourcing tool
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
APICS, CPSM, CSCP or similar certs
