Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Construction Inspector to work as a member of our clients CEI (Construction Engineering and Inspection) program and work on fast-paced projects within Texas. The inspector will primarily work independently on large projects and must have knowledge on concrete pavement and soil stabilization (i.e. construction methods, preparation, and testing). Must be knowledgeable with earthwork embankment placement and testing, Knowledgeable with TxDOT specifications and construction material testing, and be able to field tough technical questions from the Contractor.

Required Skills & Experience

Construction Certifications
- ACI (Concrete Pavement)
- Level 1 B (Tx Asphalt Pavement Association)
- Must be willing to work as needed on nights and weekends
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
- Prior TxDOT / Highway construction experience
- Proven organization and documentation skills
- Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Erosion and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification
