Job Description

Position Summary
The Safety Professional is responsible for implementing and maintaining the contractor’s safety program to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and to proactively prevent and control workplace hazards. This role provides full time, on site safety oversight across project activities, including subcontractor operations, to promote a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and enforce the contractor’s site specific safety program to prevent and mitigate occupational hazards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project safety requirements.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training for site personnel.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety related issues, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Ensure consistent enforcement of safety policies across all trades and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of five (5) years of full time safety experience in construction or industrial environments.
• Current OSHA 30 certification.
• Current OSHA 510 certification.
• Demonstrated experience managing jobsite safety programs for projects with multiple contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for hazard prevention and control.
