A bank client of ours is currently searching for an experienced and talented Commvault Backup Administrator to join their amazing IT Platform Services team!
Location: Hybrid (remote/onsite) after training at our clients Administrative Service Center. All applicants must reside within San Antonio, Texas and have the capability to perform all work from their home in San Antonio, Texas.
Work from Home Requirements:
Reliable home internet provider with the ability to hard wire a connection directly to modem (Ethernet cable provided).
Safe, suitable workspace at home that is distraction-free.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Maintain, configure, install, manage, and support enterprise backup and recovery systems, including Commvault Enterprise and attached storage platforms.
Maintain and support backup storage space and requirements across the enterprise.
Support OS, file level, VSA virtual, SQL Server, and Oracle database backup and restorations.
Prepare backup reports for management review and backup documentation.
Maintain service level agreements and participate in IT backup audits.
Work with business, technical staff, and management to design backup and recovery strategies to meet RTO/RPO requirements.
Ensure restoration procedures are configured and tested.
Perform security updates and patches on backup system servers monthly.
Remediate missing security updates as reported by Information Security and vulnerability management system.
