Job Description
We are seeking a sharp and motivated entry-level Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a degree in Accounting or Finance who are eager to gain hands-on experience in core accounting functions and who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone instead of sending an email.
Location: Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite (with full-time onsite required for first 2 weeks)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
Assist in preparing balance sheets and financial statements
Support month-end close activities, especially during the first two weeks of each month
Perform account reconciliations and assist with variance analysis
Participate in the preparation and learning of financial reports and documentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to work onsite full-time for the first two weeks of onboarding
Comfortable with a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite weekly thereafter)
Excellent communication skills – not afraid to be direct, pick up the phone, and get things done
Coachable, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Familiarity with accounting software and Excel
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
