Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Project Engineer to support a large digital enablement solutions provider local to Dallas Texas. This candidate will be responsible for designing, specifying, and managing the installation of integrated systems into conference rooms for fortune 500 customers. You will also test and troubleshoot audio DSP or video processing systems, provide weekly project updates, and assist the Project Manager in monitoring the project budget. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate with clients and employees of all levels. This individual should have a strong background in AVI Project Engineering, specifically with conference rooms. This candidate will also develop engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) drawings, calculations, acoustical modeling as needed. This Project Engineer will take the design and determine the specific details of how the project will be completed.

Required Skills & Experience

8 years of experience working in the Audio Visual Industry.
4 years of experience working with the design and management of conference rooms.
Must currently have or have previously held a CTS certification.
Must have completed a Creston training course or currently hold a Creston certification.
Must have completed a Qsys training course or currently hold a Qsys training.
Experience creating CAD drawings.
Experience with VC solutions such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebX, etc.
Ability to program, change and troubleshoot (AMX/Crestron)
Ability to diagnose complex system problems
Advanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of AV equipment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CTS certification
Bachelors degree
