Job Description

The Patient Scheduler will join a team of six and play a key role in coordinating and scheduling appointments for assigned physicians. Responsibilities include managing patient records, providing administrative support to providers, and utilizing a ticketing system to handle rescheduling requests. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and flexibility to travel between two facilities as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience scheduling for physicians with multiple locations; preferably Diagnostic or surgery scheduling experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Needs to have a "Can Do"/positive attitude
• Bilingual in Spanish

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Scheduling for an Imaging Center or Surgery Center
• Additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Proficiency in Athena EMR system and scheduling software is HUGE
