Insight Global's customer is seeking to fill a
New Product Strategist position. This position drives the profitable organic growth of the product line, by defining and executing the new product vision and roadmap in line with the Business Unit strategy. This position requires an in
depth knowledge of the products and their markets, applications, customers, suppliers, and competitors, developed by spending a significant amount of time outside IE. The New Product Strategist finds the problems
of his / her assigned market and customers’ pain points and unmet needs. He / she uses this information to develop
a product roadmap with sustainable competitive advantage to Infinite, defines new innovative and differentiated products, elaborates business cases and commercializes these products by collaborating with all stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, with specialization in products.
• 15+ years of working experience in Product Management, with earlier roles in Business Development, Sales, or
Application Engineering for products sold in markets and applications.
• Established relations with key players (customers, third parties, distribution, trade associations…) in the [xxx]
market.
• Strong technical expertise and in-depth understanding of the industry landscape, dynamics, value chain, pricing
structures, technology, and trends related to the product line.
• Documented success with the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps.
• Demonstrated history of commercial success with new products.
• Proven ability to create and present complex business cases to C-Suite.
• Regular practice of financial models, market-based pricing, and stage gate process.
• Willing to travel 50% or more of his / her time.
• MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) ability.
Owns the product strategy, technology and new products roadmap, and commercialization.
• Identify market growth drivers, trends, problems, customers’ unmet needs and pain points, and must win
opportunities.
• Collect, analyze and utilize publicly available information, attend industry events, and trade shows and actively
participate in standard committees.
• Create Infinite’s products solutions for the market and applications.
• Elaborate the product strategy aligned with the Business Unit strategy and the voice of customer to gather new
product ideas, create technology and new product roadmap, business case, and go to market strategy, including
definition of new products, identification of lead customers / early adopters, negotiation with partners, and
pricing strategy.
• Assess market size, competitors, market share, create leverage matrix (key success factors), Market Requirement
Documents (MRD), Product Requirement Documents (PRD), business cases, and formulate product benefits and
value proposition.
• Work with sales in developing strategies to successfully win key opportunities.
• Build in-depth relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers in the market.
• Oversee the development of the technical and commercial collateral.
• Provide technical product support and training for sales, distributors, customers, and other departments as
needed.
• Review regularly and improve roadmap data in Aha and ensure compliance with the defined process.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• MBA or master’s in business management.
• Negotiation of customer and supplier agreement.
• Experience with roadmapping tools.
• High level of comfort with online marketing and ecommerce.
• Database management tools’ ability.
• Relations with key players (customers, third parties, distribution, trade associations…) in the market.
