Job Description
This Cable Technician supports the installation, termination, and testing of Cat5 and Cat6 cabling, as well as the end-to-end setup of security camera systems, including mounting hardware and running cable. They assist with site surveys to evaluate cable pathways and installation needs while following project plans and timelines to ensure efficient, on-schedule completion of work. The role involves troubleshooting connectivity issues in the field, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols, and collaborating closely with project leads, team members, and clients to maintain clear communication. Additionally, they are responsible for documenting completed work, including cable runs, labeling, and basic project updates.
Hourly Rate: $27 per hour

Required Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience with low-voltage cabling (Cat5/Cat6) and basic network infrastructure
Experience assisting with security camera installations preferred
Ability to read basic diagrams or follow installation plans
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Comfortable working in a team environment and on job sites
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
