Job Description
Insight Global is looking for multiple Mechanical Technicians to join a leading hydrogen company to build out four fueling stations for a new hydrogen powered train. We are ideally looking for candidates who have experience working with industrial systems or components. You will be a part of a manufacturing team that supports Factory Acceptance Testing, pump installations, pipe work, and other tasks as needed. You will need to have strong mechanical skills, and exposure to oil, gas, turbine, or energy related systems. This role will require you to work onsite in Katy, Texas (77493) with open flexibility for overtime and weekend work.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years experience in an oil, gas, energy, or plant environment OR 5+ years of experience in a mechanical, process, industrial, or similar role
* High level of skill with mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair
* Ability to diagnose system failures and isolate root cause
* Familiarity with Factory Acceptance Testing
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office software for reporting and email correspondence
* Must be proficient in the English language, both verbally and written, in order to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and other third parties.
* Ability to work overtime and weekends
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Industrial gas systems experience highly preferred
* Trade Degree, Diploma, or certificate
* Oil, Gas, or Hydrogen industry experience
