Job Description

10+ years' experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches. Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments. Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads. Design, implement, and troubleshoot the most complex Enterprise network solutions and/or issues. Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible. Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re‐work or for auditing/investigation purposes. SME experience with enterprise network architectures and configurations is paramount and experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) is highly desired. Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves. Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
