Our fortune 100 customer in the pharmaceutical space is hiring an Engineer Manager to oversee a talented team of RPG Engineers withing their growing organization. The ideal candidate has a technical background in Supply Chain and former management experience overseeing co-located teams.
This resource will be responsible for managing team capacity, assigning development and support tasks based on priority and initiating process/ documentation standardization and ensuring adoption and adherence.
The engineering team is responsible for WMS feature development, testing and support. The will write code utilizing RPG/ AS400/ JSON/ SQL technologies, lead and pilot go-live of the system, debug and address tickets, perform functional testing and automate processes based on authorized business requirements.

10+ years of professional experience in enterprise technology environments
Past experience as a Programmer/ Engineer, ideally utilizing RPG/ AS400/ JSON technologies
Experience managing onshore/ offshore teams and process, procedure, documentation and onboarding standardization
Supply Chain knowledge and understanding of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and/ or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Customer and support focused mindset
Passion for technology
Willing and available to travel (minimal/ domestic), as needed, for feature go-lives
