A large retail client headquartered in Irving, TX is looking for a new Android Developer to assist in customer-facing applications. This team is responsible for designing a native application that will consume back-end APIS. This new developer would join an new team of 6 developers and be responsible for hands-on development using Android Studio. They will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional partners and participate in the agile development processes including sprint planning, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions. · 5-10+ years of experience as an Android Developer developing Android applications
· Strong hands on experience using Android Studio
· Strong experience with Java, Kotlin or Gradle.
· Development experience with Android frameworks (service, JNI, native service, HAL, etc.),
· Hands on experience with creating a productionized app for an enterprise level client.
· Previous experience supporting an e-commerce application.
· Strong communications skills, ability to communicate effectively within distributed teams
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, similar, or equivalent working experience
