Job Description
We are seeking a Search Engineer to enhance and evolve enterprise search experiences across digital platforms. This role focuses on building scalable search systems, improving relevance through machine learning, and integrating modern search infrastructure and AI-driven capabilities.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize search platforms using ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, and/or Solr
• Improve search relevance using machine learning models (ranking, classification, relevance tuning)
• Build and operate scalable search infrastructure using Kubernetes, Kafka, and distributed architectures
• Analyze search queries, user behavior, and performance metrics to drive continuous optimization
• Explore and implement AI-driven search capabilities, including RAG, LLMs, and agentic solutions
• Develop analytical and predictive models to identify patterns and solve search-related problems
• Write high-quality, performant code using Python, Kotlin, and/or Java
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful search solutions
•Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Required Skills & Experience
-5-8 years of experience optimizing search platforms using Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, and/or Solr
-5-8+ years of hands on programming using Python
-Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
-Strong understanding of algorthms, data analysis and large scale system design
-Experience with Google Cloud Platform
